left alone pt 1

Dan and his sister stella were  on vacation at there aunt's house. The two were having a great time but then their aunt Kara got a call on her phone and the mood suddenly change. the two were quickly hurried into the car. Kara drove down the road like they had seen before, whats going on they asked only to quickly be hushed. All too soon they would find out what was wrong.
They arrived at a hosptial kara nearly dragging the two along behind her. Hurry hurry she kept muttering frantically.
As they entered the hospital and walked along the long corridors they stoped by a room. Outside of the room stood Their grandmother, her eyes filled with tears. They hurried over to her and hugged her. Soon she told them a story of how their grandfather tried to stop a robber from stealing her purse and had gotten shot. There is nothing they can do.... she began to sob more... go say your goodbyes.
As the two went in and said goodbye they came out again. Their aunt kara waiting for them oddly.
The doctors dont know how long he's going to make it most likely not through the night.
The two looked at each other and paled. Your parents  need to get here but they are snowed in and cant make it to the airport. There is a way they can get here but.... they need your help.
We'll do whatever we need to they both blurted out at once.  you both are young and very brave.
here hold these stones and repeat what i tell you. The two looked at each other in disbelief. Are you sure kara they both asked. Yes just trust me. They both gulped and  repeated the words.
Nothing happened... still nothing.... look it didnt work. A passer by bumped into dan causing him fall into stella. The two both droped there stones. Kara looked at them quick pick them up you fools!
The two scrambled to grab the stones quickly picking them up. Which ones mine asked stella. I dont know said dan they look the same. Just say the words again stammered kara you gotta say it four times ! The two repeated the words again. This time everything went black. Dans head hurt  suddenly he found himself back at home, sitting inside his parents bedroom. What the hell that worked he said. Dan quickly found himself startled by the sound of his voice, it was softer, less manly.  Dan gulped as he looked down, blonde hair falling infront of his eyes. as he parted the hair to the side he seen what he feared two fleshy mounds beneath him. Suddenly a phone next to him began to ring, he noticed it said "Danny" calling , thats what his mom always called him, he awnsered. Is this stella or dan are you guys ok? he heard his own voice asking. Yes, yes we are fine and this is dan... why am i you mom? Uggh well your aunt said you dropped the stones and probally grabbed the wrong ones and each stone was linked to one of us. look just take care of stella, i know you two are old enough so just sit out the snow storm and watch some tv. your aunt said it'll be 3 or 4 days till the stones recharge. in the mean time we will settle the affairs we can out here. relax and keep the house clean! 
Dan walked out of his parents room and found stella sitting on her dads favorite chair crying. Whats wrong, are you ok stella? Stella looked at dan and laughed a little. im a dude a freaking dude it's creepy worse yet im dad ! Well im mom ! stella laughed again it's kinda funny but ugh this sucks.

Lets get some rest tomorrows another day. The two went right to bed hoping the awkwardness wouldnt be so bad in the morning even sleeping in their own beds.
